Mission Statement

Kajx COMMUNICATIONS (ABN: 29 417 308 175) is a "freelance sporting digital photojournalist and event photography" business aiming to:

Established in August 2002 by Kendall Jennings, kajx COMMUNICATIONS has had the opportunity to travel around Australia photographing Motocross/Supercross Events, and providing images to Fullnoise (website), Eatmydirt (website), MCNEWS (website) Dirt Action Magazine, Trail bike Adventure, ADB, Stroke and Freerider Magazines, as well as Yamaha Australia, KTM Australia, Honda Australia and Mobil Australia.

"I started taking photos in 2002, after a motorcycle accident while trail riding in the mountains, which nearly claimed my life. After travelling to a majority of motorcycle events as a spectator, I was handed a camera at a local enduro race near Kerang, never using a camera before, I was given a quick rundown on how to use it, and Scriven's Consolidated Industries racing team recruited me to photography their competitors.

I started out photographing Swan Hill and Balranald Motocross events. I was at the right place at the right time, my first National meeting was in Conondale QLD, armed with a new Canon EOS10D which I had acquired before I flew out, reading the manual on the plane. I started photographing Northern Region and then Victorian Motocross State Titles.

I enjoy travelling to sporting events and being involved. I grew up playing Netball, Tennis, Softball and Soccer (which I had to opportunity to represent the Australian Army) and was always active in high school team sports Hockey and Softball. I began riding motorcycles at an early age and still ride, I work in a motorcycle shop (Scriven's Consolidated Industries - Kerang) during the week, and I am active snapping on the weekends. I enjoy using my camera."
